Globe Guilders support the The Old Globe/University of San Diego Master of Fine Arts joint venture in various ways:
First, we host an annual membership luncheon to honor the seven very talented students, who are recruited nationally to participate in this program.
We also support this program by attending the students’ thesis performances at the University of San Diego school theatre.
In addition to making an annual financial contribution to the MFA program, some of our members also become “Guilder Moms” to the students during the intensive two-year, year-round course of graduate studies in classical theatre. This is one of the favorite Globe Guilder activities.
