The Old Globe sponsors one-hour seminars, generally held the Monday of the week of preview performances of each play.
These highly informative and interesting seminars, offered free of charge, are conducted by The Old Globe’s Education Department. Truly enhancing the enjoyment of the theatrical experience, these seminars are a most valued service of The Old Globe to the San Diego community.
Many Globe Guilders support the Globe by attending these seminars regularly, and inviting their friends. Seminar guests are greeted by volunteer docents who are trained and qualified as such by the Globe’s Education Department. It is no surprise to find that several docents have also been very active Globe Guilder for a long time.
