In addition to the Production Kick-off gatherings, Globe Guilders host and participate in periodic meetings of The Old Globe’s entire theatrical company. Usually held during the day at The Old Globe Theatre, these events allow the Globe Guilders volunteers to meet world famous playwrights, actors, directors, writers, costume and set designers, at the same time that they meet each other, as the new season begins.
At these events, Globe Guilders treat The Globe staff, guest artists and everyone working on the season’s theatrical works, to a wide variety of snacks and beverages, served on beautifully decorated tables. The Globe staff and their guests report that their all- time favorites are the Globe Guilders’ deviled eggs and finger sandwiches.
This is not only quite the treat for Globe Guilders, but always a most enjoyable learning experience for theatre lovers.
