At the annual Awards Night Dinner Globe Guilders recognize outstanding performance by some of its Steering Committee members. The Globe Guilders Steering Committee nominate candidates and elect the “Guilder of the Year”, voting through secret ballots, and present the award at this event.
Other awards presented at this event include the “Irma McPherson Globe Guilders Founder Award”, the “President’s Award” and a special engraved gift to recognize the efforts of the Fashion Show Chair.
The event culminates with the ceremonial delivery of a substantial check to a member of The Old Globe management. The check includes funds raised by Globe Guilders during the year. Joined by their spouses/significant others and friends, Guilders look forward to this evening of music, excellent food and friendship.
